What is HYROX Training?

Fierce Fitness is a HYROX Training Club in Penang, offering structured, performance-driven workouts designed to build strength, endurance, and race-ready conditioning. As a HYROX-affiliated gym, we provide specialised training including sled work, ski erg, functional strength, and hybrid conditioning sessions.

Our programming caters to all levels—from first-time participants to competitive athletes—combining expert coaching, high-energy group classes, and a supportive community.

FIERCE X : HYROX TRAINING

We offer the following classes :

  • HYROX Fundamentals
    Build strength and power, muscular endurance, aerobic and lactic threshold, skills, and agility. As such, it aims to create a well-rounded, balanced fitness regime.
  • HYROX Strength 
    Specifically on developing strength in all forms possible. It’s centered more on traditional strength training rather than skills and aerobic fitness. Expect targeted training for key HYROX movements such as sled pushes, sled pulls, and farmer’s carries. The program includes a variety of workout formats such as AMRAPS (As Many Reps As Possible), Strength intervals, EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute), Partner Workouts, ‘You Go I Go’ sessions, and volume training
  • HYROX Complete
    Everything rolled in – running & functional workout stations to get you ready for the competition race! You will train to push through fatigue and stay strong in both running and HYROX-specific movements. Expect long couplet intervals that combine different race elements, partner workouts to enhance competition readiness, and a heavy dose of compromised running, where you’ll transition between high-intensity movements and running.
  • HYROX open gym
    Your own training in your own time. As part of the open gym you can use our HYROX equipment as long as it is not being used as part of our classes.
